Structural Frame System
Reinforced-concrete framing arranged across multiple floor levels with repeated column and beam systems.
Shahnawaz Residence is a multi-storey residential project featuring a reinforced-concrete structural frame arranged across multiple floor levels. The building includes repeated column and beam systems, reinforced-concrete floor slabs, a centrally positioned staircase and a smaller framed structure above the main roof.
GMCE carried out the three-dimensional structural modelling and analysis of the residence, coordinating the columns, beams, slabs, staircase and floor openings within the building’s varied structural configuration. The project demonstrates a systematic approach to developing an integrated structural framework for a contemporary multi-level residence.
